wonderful staff, very kind, very helpful. Just magnificant. The hotel vwas very nice, the breakfast was great . I am hoping to stay there again
We were offered a room in the hotel villa which is detached from the main hotel. The villa was situated in beautiful lush gardens and was peaceful and away from the noise of the busy street. The sea views from the balcony were magnificent. The villa also allows for self-catering.
We stayed in the "villa" across the street. It was amazing. Right on the water front cliff! No A/C but even though it was very warm, the room stayed comfortable.
Little run down in a charming kinda way!
everything just perfetto ! good location, wonderful view, very nice staff ( Giorgio, remember your kindness forever!) , very interesting design (a lot of antique things in the hotel) , good breakfast , a little bit far from the center of the city , but the view on the way is compensation.
We stayed seven nights. The staff at the front desk were very helpful giving us directions and also very friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the coffee delicious. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy. The sea view was unbelievable.
staff were very helpfull and kind. breakfast was nice
The shower was reall bad
The staff really went out of their way to see us comfortable. Also Ilike the view fro the roof,
The position is excellnet, the reception, breakfast room and house staff very courteous and very helpful. Wonderful view over the sea
A softer bed would have been more comfortable.
Good hotel for leisure near Amalfi. Nice view from sea side rooms, other rooms I don't think so. Beautifull beach but not easy access. Good parking which is not easy in other places. Good reception service.
Little bit old, requires reconstruction. Rooms simple and not so stylish anymore. Should be cheaper.
Needs renovating, especially the villa. Beautiful, but in ill repair.
The staff were helpful and cheerful. The breakfast was very good and they made excellent coffee to your order. The hotel also had a garage which could accommodate more than 10 odd cars and the staff were always around to help you get your car out if it was blocked by others. This was certainly a credit when parking space was extremely short in the Amalfi Coast. The hotel was also right by the side of the main road. This made it easily accessible.
The facilities were really poor and the hotel not well kept. There were broken and loose tiles lying about the open area which could have easily tripped people. The room air-conditioning was hardly working and we suffered two nights in heat. The room was also too small for 4 people. I would have appreciated it if I had known about the size of the room when I did my reservation. The pictures of the hotel rooms shown in the website was an exaggeration. On the other hand, the hotel also had a large common veranda with a splendid sea view which unfortunately had not been put to good use.
The staff were very friendly and informative. The room was very clean and the view was amazing. Breakfast was delicious.
The room was not large and the pillows were hard.
Great location. Excellent sea view (look for rooms with it). Rich buffet breakfast. Courteous/helpful staff.
No air conditioning: just a squeaky electric fan on the ceiling. Old/cheap furniture.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Amazing view from our seaside room. Close walking distance to town.
Location was great and staff speak English. Very comfortable and friendly. Great terrace on roof and easy walk down to main centre via steps. Recommend if coming by bus from Sorrento to ask the driver to drop you off at this hotel as it is on the main road (only windy road) 1km before you get to Amalfi bus centre. We enjoyed our stay.
Wish we had known the times and location of the free shuttle bus to hotel on our arrival and how to recognise it. It was not obvious. We used a taxis (10 euro) as walking with our bags was not an option and the road is up hill.
